"In fair Verona, when we lay our scene"....this is a part of the famous Romeo and Juliet's prologue from Shakespeare that I most remind. Verona is one of the most beautiful cities and top travel destinations in Italy and also is part of the Unesco sites. And I'm proud to say that this Veneto:my land! :-)

Did you enjoy this photo tour? Well if you want to visit Verona, here you can find some accomodation options, depending on your budget:

Where to sleep:

  • Budget accomodation: Alloggio Le Casette, at just 300 meters from Arena and Piazza Bra. Great sight and position, it has private bathroom. For its price range, 80-90 Euros, it is one of the few places where you can have your private bathroom. Breakfast at 4 Euros per person per night.
  • Mid-range accomodation: B&B Palazzo Lavagnoli, at 650 meters from Piazza Bra, has some 2 levels suites, great WiFi connection, breakfast included, prices around 120 Euros per double room per night.
  • Luxury accomodation: Domus Nova, located in the central Piazza dei Signori, in a 14th Century building, breakfast included, prices around 270 Euros per double room per night.
Have a nice stay! :-)

Gorgeous city, one of my favorites in the world! Thanks for a nice reminder while it's cold and snowy here in Boston!

Thanks for your comment Linda! Yeah Verona is one of my favourite cities too (and lucky that it is not that far from my hometown). Well it's cold and almost snowy here too: the pictures were taken in August! :-)
