Exploring the Outer Banks and Kitty Hawk, USA

Thursday, July 25, 2013

After having visited Washington, we decided to deviate from the Route 95 in order to drive along the Outer Banks, a 200 mile or 320 km long string of narrow barrier islands off the Atlantic coast of North Carolina and Virginia.

It's like a ride in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and our stop was Kitty Hawk, also place where the Wright Brothers had attempted for 4 years in a row to flight for the first time.

To celebrate the first birthday, I launched the DoE's Itinerary Planner Service in order to meet the needs of the people that want to get customized trip itineraries or template trip itineraries. As planning a trip can be really stressful, I can help you with this so you can get your dream trip.

To celebrate this b-day, you can request an itinerary with a 30% discount: just insert the coupon BIRTHDAY and you will get a 30% discount. Hurry up! This coupon will expire in 15 days!

Coming soon, a free e-book will be released: its title will be "How to plan a trip to Europe", an useful guide with some resources, tips and tricks to save money and travel smarter, faster and better.

In order to provide the best content, tips, advices and tricks I will also open new categories, as exploring the world means also sharing with you all that a place can offer you, from the most interesting attractions to the hidden places, from its culture to the food, from the cathedrals to the nightlife.

However, I won't stop sharing all the feelings, emotions and travel stories about the world and why everyone should try to travel through it in order to understand the differences and contrasts.

One day in Ravenna, Italy

Wednesday, July 10, 2013

The last stop of the International Blog Tour was Ravenna, city that I've never visited before and part of the Unesco sites list. This is a city you cannot miss, one of the top travel destinations that should be inserted in the bucket list of each traveller.

Added as "Early Christian Monuments of Ravenna" because of its "unique collection of early Christian mosaics and monuments", Ravenna displays also other interesting attractions to visit.

Heartstorming art expo in Treviso, Italy

Wednesday, July 3, 2013

If you have the opportunity to visit Venice and the precious and closer city Treviso, just 30 km far from the more famous city, I would recommend you also to go to the Spazio Paraggi, located in Via Pescatori 23, a room and hall dedicated to art expos, conferences, music performances with also a library.

From the 21st of June to the 9th of July, there's an interesting art expo called Heartstorming of a young and talented painter, Roberta Battaglia. If you are in Treviso, I would strongly recommend to not miss it this nice art expo.

I loved this exposition as the paintings are full of colors and really expressive, and the constrast between the black and all the bright and warm colors reminded me something about the famous Catalan painter Joan MirĂ².
